Steve & Mike Shellfish Co., Inc. was founded on September 16, 1992 by Steve Van Iderstine and Mike Mitchell. With a combined 17 years of experience in the seafood industry, Steve and Mike decided to venture out on their own. Setting up their office in the closet of a customer's warehouse and making deliveries in a rented U-Haul and 1985 Ford Bronco, they worked around the clock. And with that a company was born!
Today S&M Shellfish has a state of the art, 5,000 square foot warehouse facility on Pier 45 at the world famous Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, California. With an experienced staff of employees, we are not only a local supplier of fresh seafood but also ship around the world.
