Cherrystone Clams are typically around 2 inches in diameter and are bigger than Littleneck Clams, but smaller than chowder clams or Quahogs. Both Cherrystone and Littlenecks are good for shucking. These clams come from the North Shore of Long Island.
Littleneck clams are similar to Cherrystones, however they are less than 2 inches in diameter and are very sweet and tender.
These clams are grown along the Washington coast and Puget Sound regions. Because there are so many sources, we are able to get fresh product year round.
